Abstract

This article discusses the possibilities of using augmented reality technologies and the ARCore framework to develop navigation assistants for the blind. The paper also describes an experiment to determine the maximum depth in the frame for different types of obstacles, the factors that affect the accuracy and maximum distance. The current version of the software is used in the experiment.
