Анотація
In this work he tells about Oles Honchar – a figure who steadfastly fought for a free and independent Ukraine, who to the last believed in the independence and inviolability of the country. The novel "Cathedral" is analyzed, which is a symbol of spiritual beauty, strength, humanity of the Ukrainian people and how O. Honchar was almost arrested for this novel. Because in Soviet times it was difficult to create, but he did not completely submit to the system, and continued to write new works on current topics, which was heroism in those days.
