Емуляція аналогового аудіообладнання у цифровому середовищі: причини популярності та технологічні особливості

Abstract

The paper examines the role of analog equipment emulation in modern digital audio production. The study discusses the fundamental differences between digital and analog signal processing, with particular emphasis on nonlinear characteristics that give analog devices their distinctive sonic properties. Special attention is devoted to the main approaches used in digital modeling of analog audio equipment, including algorithmic modeling, circuit modeling, black-box modeling and machine learning techniques. The paper highlights the importance of these technologies in contemporary audio engineering practice, where they allow producers and engineers to combine the flexibility of digital environments with the sonic qualities of classic analog devices.
