The European society was the first to respond to these needs by introducing an environmental classification of vehicles sold by the European Union, with restrictions in the form of a series of Euro-0, Euro-1, Euro 2 etc. programmes spread over time into the future. The programmes also include quality standards for all types of motor fuels. These laws have an effective impact on people's lives, scientific and technological progress and the development of society.
