dc.description.abstract	The twentieth century was a terrible incarnation of the 'ubermensch': the world was divided by dictators who forged Zarathustra's teachings for the sake of power. Morally weak people, through aggression and lust for conquest, became a mass and lost what little freedom they had left. Christian dogmas and traditions were squeezed out by lust for revenge, personality cults and ideological wars. The humiliation of man reached a climax: in man the creator was killed, leaving a hollow performer. Regimes fell one by one, but the spectre of totalitarianism remained. Modern man needs Nietzsche again.	uk_UA
