Abstract

Tolerance means respect for another’s right to have their own interests, willingness to accept others as they are, to interact with others on the basis of mutual respect. Such a moral position promotes peace and harmony in relations and requires a certain endurance and self-control. At the same time, the question arises: is it really moral to tolerate what you do not agree with? Does tolerance contain critical reflection, and how does it affect the quality of our relationship?
