Філософія як освітня платформа критичного мислення

Abstract

In the digital environment, human thinking is becoming increasingly fragmented. Information is consumed quickly, often without deep analysis, and the learning process is often focused mainly on technical knowledge and practical skills. As a result, the ability to perform specific tasks is formed, but not always critically comprehend their content, consequences and grounds. A person gets used to trusting ready-made answers, algorithms and external sources, losing the ability to make independent judgments. This creates a risk of reducing the level of intellectual autonomy and responsibility for one's own decisions. In this context, we have a hypothesis that philosophy is able to effectively fulfill the role of an educational platform for the development of critical thinking as an intellectual responsibility, provided that it is considered not only as a set of theoretical knowledge. Philosophy forms the ability to think consciously, which is a necessary condition for human existence in a complex and rapidly changing world, where modern critical thinking should be understood as a way of ethical being.
