Анотація
In his essay “The Myth of Sisyphus,” Albert Camus explores a fundamental question of human existence: is life worth living if it lacks objective meaning? The central concept of his work is the absurd—the sense of conflict between the human desire for harmony and meaning and the silent indifference of the universe. Camus argues that absurdity cannot be overcome or ignored—it can only be embraced and made the basis of one’s existence. Through the metaphor of Sisyphus, who is futilely pushing a boulder up a mountain, Camus reveals the mechanism of human existence in a world without absolute truths.
