Анотація
The article discusses the synthesis of technological progress and the development of modern society. Today, the peak of technological progress is information technology, which has already entered into all spheres of human activity, and the achievements of genetic engineering. The combination of these branches of knowledge and activity can affect the change in the very nature of man. In the social sphere, the formation of a consumer society turned out to be the main result of the technogenic development of European civilization
