Abstract

Everyday life imperceptibly absorbs our ability to think independently: we often act automatically, relying on habits, the influence of traditions and numerous stereotypes. At the same time, information reality increasingly ignores the truth or falsity of facts and spreads uncertainty. For decades, researchers have been discussing the phenomenon of "post-truth" – the loss of the meaning of truth and fact in modern culture. In these conditions, it is philosophy that encourages us to stop and question even what seems obvious. And we return to the classical practice of Socratic maieutics.
