Migration of students as a result of the war: short-term and long-term consequences

Abstract

The ongoing war in Ukraine has led to significant population migration, including over 1.8 million children abroad and more than 2.5 million internally displaced students, impacting the education system. Many students face disrupted education due to limited access to Ukrainian schools and remote learning challenges. Long-term consequences may include economic decline and increased social inequality. Ensuring access to quality education for all children is crucial for the country's future.
