Abstract

The modern information society is developing rapidly. Communication plays a major role in the life of this society: both general and political. In such conditions, both society and the state become independent and equal subjects of communicative interactions regarding the functioning and distribution of power. A fundamental feature of political communication is the situation in which a message can influence not only the consciousness and behavior of certain individuals and social groups, but also the information environment in which they are located. Political communication plays a major role in the formation of public opinion. It simultaneously mobilizes the electorate and contributes to the effective functioning of democratic processes.
