This thesis is about the "smart room" as the first step towards the "smart home" development. Only some functions are implemented in the "Smart Room": climate control, lighting control, TV volume control, etc. The feature of the present- ed development is the use of typical household appliances in the "smart room". Typical devices acquire "smart" properties due to original connection and control schemes. Remote control via TG-bot is provided too. The set of functions of a smart room is analyzed, recommendations on the required number of sensors and executive devices are made.
