Публікація Research of acid transaction implementation methods for distributed databases using replication technology distributed database(ХНУРЕ, 2021) Mazurova, O.; Naboka, A.; Shirokopetleva, M.Today, databases are an integral part of most modern applications designed to store large amounts of data and to request from many users. To solve business problems in such conditions, databases are scaled, often horizontally on several physical servers using replication technology. At the same time, many business operations require the implementation of transactional compliance with ACID properties. For relational databases that traditionally support ACID transactions, horizontal scaling is not always effective due to the limitations of the relational model itself. Therefore, there is an applied problem of efficient implementation of ACID transactions for horizontally distributed databases. The subject matter of the study is the methods of implementing ACID transactions in distributed databases, created by replication technology. The goal of the work is to increase the efficiency of ACID transaction implementation for horizontally distributed databases. The work is devoted to solving the following tasks: analysis and selection of the most relevant methods of implementation of distributed ACID transactions; planning and experimental research of methods for implementing ACID transactions by using of NoSQL DBMS MongoDB and NewSQL DBMS VoltDB as an example; measurements of metrics of productivity of use of these methods and formation of the recommendation concerning their effective use. The following methods are used: system analysis; relational databases design; methods for evaluating database performance. The following results were obtained: experimental measurements of the execution time of typical distributed transactions for the subject area of e commerce, as well as measurements of the number of resources required for their execution; revealed trends in the performance of such transactions, formed recommendations for the methods studied. The obtained results allowed to make functions of dependence of the considered metrics on loading parameters. Conclusions: the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of distributed ACID transactions using MongoDB and VoltDB were identified. Practical recommendations for the effective use of these systems for different types of applications, taking into account the resources consumed and the types of requests.Публікація Research of methods to support data migration between relational and document data storage models(ХНУРЕ, 2022) Peretiatko, M.; Shirokopetleva, M.; Lesna, N.The subject matter of the article is heterogeneous model-inhomogeneous data migration between relational and document-oriented data storage models, existing strategies and methods to support such migrations, the use of relational algebra and set theory in the context of databases in building a new data migration algorithm. The goal of the work is to consider the features and procedure of data migration, explore methods to support data migration between relational and documentary data models, build a mathematical model and algorithm for data migration. The following methods were used: analysis and comparison of existing approaches to data migration, choice of strategy for further use in compiling the migration algorithm, mathematical modeling of the algorithm of heterogeneous model-inhomogeneous data migration, formalization of the data migration algorithm. The following tasks were solved in the article: consideration of the concept and types of data migration, justification for choosing a document-oriented data model as a target for data migration, analysis of existing literature sources on methods and strategies of heterogeneous model data migration from relational to document-oriented data model, highlighting advantages and disadvantages existing methods, choosing an approach to the formation of the data migration algorithm, compiling and describing a mathematical model of data migration using relational algebra and set theory, presentation of the data migration algorithm, which is based on the focus on data queries. The following results were obtained: the possibilities of relational algebra and set theory in the context of data models and queries are used, as well as in model redesign, the strategy of migration of data models is chosen, which provides relational and document-oriented data models, the algorithm of application of this method is described. Conclusions: because of the work, the main methods of migration support for different data storage models are analyzed, with the help of relational algebra, set theory a mathematical model is built, and an algorithm for transforming a relational data model into a document-oriented data model is taken into account. The obtained algorithm is suitable for use in real examples, and is the subject of further research and possible improvements, analysis of efficiency in comparison with other methods.Публікація Research on methods of determining customer loyalty and assessing their level of satisfaction(ХНУРЕ, 2023) Leiba, Ya.; Shirokopetleva, M.; Gruzdo, I.The subject of research in the article is methods of data collection and processing to assess the level of customer satisfaction and loyalty to the company, as well as the possibility of evaluating the collected data. The purpose of the work is the analysis of methods for determining customer loyalty and assessing their level of satisfaction, the development of a unified assessment algorithm based on various types of data. The article deals with the following tasks: analysis of information acquisition methods – questionnaires and reviews, evaluation methods definition and comparison questionnaires with closed answers, reviews and open answers’ text tonality evaluation methods analysis using an artificial intelligence, development of an algorithm for determining a unified evaluation and conducting an experiment. The following methods are used: theoretical research methods for determining existing data collection methods, as well as methods for assessing the level of customer loyalty and satisfaction using CSI, CSAT indexes, NLP methods for determining the text tonality, bringing the calculated values to one scale, determining the method of a unified assessment; empirical research methods for conducting an experiment, determining and proving the feasibility of applying the method. The following results were obtained: a method of assessing customer loyalty and their level of satisfaction based on the analysis of various types of information with further results unification was proposed. Various types of date are responses to questionnaires and user reviews. The questionnaires are analyzed using KPI, and reviews – using artificial intelligence methods. After normalizing the results (bringing them to one scale), the additive convolution method is used to unify the overall result. A prototype of the software system has been developed, which allows you to carry out a full cycle from collecting information to calculating both KPI-metrics and a unified assessment. Conclusions: Experimentally, it was determined that the method of assessing customer loyalty and their level of satisfaction based on the unification of a comprehensive assessment of various types of data is efficient and can be used to optimize business processes by reducing time and efforts spent on analyzing the gathered data. The use of this method is fully justified, since the measurement error is low, and the margin of error is acceptable.Публікація System for sharpness evaluation of photos of people(ФОП Петров В.В., 2022) Dolhanenko, O.; Shirokopetleva, M.; Lesna, N.Evaluating the sharpness of an image is an important step in image processing and image quality assessment.
