The results of a medical examination of 3737 students of different faculties between the ages of 17 and 22 were examined. Medical examinations were conducted by the doctors of the medical centers of universities. М.; Lytvynenko, A.; Griban, G.The article presents results of the investigation of dynamics of psycho-emotional state and individual psychological characteristics of students during physical education. 60 students were part in the research. The level of extraversion, emotional stability, and type of temperament were determined according to the methodology of H. Eysenck. The assessment of well-being, activity, and mood was carried out using the WAM test. The differentiation of physical education classes, applying physical exercises according to the students’ temperaments, is determined to influence their emotional state and individual-psychological characteristics positively. The students of experimental groups are defined to have better indicators of well-being, activity, mood, extraversion and introversion, neuroticism than those of control groups at the end of the experiment. El artículo presenta los resultados de la investigación de la dinámica del estado psicoemocional y las características psicológicas individuales de los estudiantes durante la educación física. 60 estudiantes participan en la investigación. El nivel de extraversión, la estabilidad emocional y el tipo de temperamento se determinaron de acuerdo con la metodología de H. Eysenck. La evaluación del bienestar, la actividad y el estado de ánimo se realizó mediante la prueba WAM. La diferenciación de las clases de educación física, aplicando ejercicios físicos de acuerdo con el temperamento de los estudiantes, está determinada a influir positivamente en su estado emocional y sus características psicológicas individuales. The study aims to substantiate, implement, and verify the efficiency of the original methodical system of physical education of students of Ukrainian higher educational institutions. A total of 87 students, aged 18–22, including 46 males and 41 females, participated in the study. The research methods were conceptual-comparative analysis, questionnaires and surveys, pedagogical observations, expert assessments, testing, pedagogical experiment, and statistical methods. It has been determined that the original methodical system, implemented in the educational process of physical education, contributes to improving the quality of the physical education of students, forming highly-developed health and fitness competencies that are required during professional activity to maintain a high level of physical fitness and working capacity.Публікація Influence of positive and negative factors on the university students’ health(ALUNA Publishing House, 2020) Литвиненко, А. А.; Griban, G.The aim is to analyze the factors that affect the students’ health both positively and negatively and to evaluate the real health status of Ukrainian student youth. Materials and methods: The research was conducted at Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University and University of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, 647 students of the 1st – 4th years of study were examined. To study both negative and positive factors, we conducted a survey of the students of different genders of several education departments, using original questionnaires. To analyze the results of the students’ self-assessment of their health state, the methodology of V. P. Voitenko, which contains 27 questions that characterize the most important aspects of well-being, mood, activity, sleep quality, pain senses and lifestyle of students, was applied. Results: It was determined that the most important factors for the preservation of health included nutrition, physical activity, active leisure, sleep, love and sex. 56.3 % of male students and 49.9 % of female ones indicated that motor activity is of great importance for health care. The students stated that the most dangerous health factors included drug use, radioactive contamination of the environment, smoking, alcohol abuse, stress, etc. It was found that the highest percentage of students had satisfactory and poor health levels – 44.8-54.9 % and 17.8-29.5 % respectively. Conclusions: A wide range of specific components of the educational process and the healthy lifestyle of students can have different effects on life. Lifestyle is one of the many factors that affect students’ health. The students’ self-assessment of their health state lets to manage the educational process of physical education efficiently, allocate physical activity and apply individual tasks rationally.Публікація Motor activity as the basis of a healthy lifestyle of student youth(Fundacja Lekarzy Polskich-Pro-Medica, 2020) Литвиненко, А. М.; Lytvynenko, A.; Griban, G.The aim is to find out the role of motor activity in developing a healthy lifestyle of student youth in the process of physical education. Materials and methods: The study involved 647 students, aged 18-22. The research methods are the analysis and synthesis of the literature, analysis of curricula, programs, methodological support and quality of training, questionnaires, and the methods of mathematical statistics. Results: It is determined that the majority of the students had no need for a healthy lifestyle, the lack of knowledge in this area, low activity while performing the requirements of a healthy lifestyle, irrational organization of educational activities, bad habits and other factors that negatively affect their health. Сonclusions: The current system of physical education in the higher education institutions of Ukraine cannot change the attitude of students to a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of physical education, in addition to the formation of physical skills and development of students’ physical qualities, should be educational work aimed at forming a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle.
