Публікація Assessment Dynamics the Development of Financial Markets in the UK and Japan in the Context of COVID-19 Pandemic(IJAMR, 2022) Lyashenko, V.; Bitner, I.; Bilotserkivskyi, O.The negative dynamics of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic affects all areas of daily and economic activity. At the same time, the degree of such influence is largely determined by the continuity of the movement of various financial flows, the possibility of their rapid renewal in cases of emergency slowdown or interruption of movement. For the analysis of the movement of financial flows, it is important to study the development of financial markets. It is important to carry out such an analysis from the point of view of different segments of the financial market. At the same time, it is also necessary to take into account the general trend in the development of the financial market, the relationship of its individual segments. This can be done based on the analysis of the relevant stock indexes. The paper considers the dynamics of the real values of stock indices, which reflect the dynamics of the development of individual sectors of the financial market. The paper also takes into account the aspects of conducting a comparative analysis, which allows us to identify common patterns. To do this, we consider the values of the UK and Japan stock indices. To conduct a comparative analysis, we use the methodology for constructing wavelet coherence estimates. The paper presents many graphs and charts for specific real data. This allows you to understand the logic of the study and the results obtained.Публікація Mutual Analysis of the Dynamics of Development of the Banking Sectors of Key Countries in Europe, Asia and America(IJAAFMR, 2023) Lyashenko, V.; Bitner, I.; Ponomarenko, O.The banking sector plays an important role in the economy and development of every country. The banking sector is an important segment of the financial market. Banks normalize and ensure the continuity of the movement of various financial flows between different economical agents. At the same time, banks play an important role in international trade. Banks contribute to ensuring the parity of currency quotes, mutual settlements between countries, and support the movement of financial flows at the international level. For such provision, an important point is the mutual analysis of the banking systems of different countr ies. One of the indicators of the functioning of different banking systems are the corresponding stock indices. We consider the dynami cs of changes in a number of such stock indices for some countries in Europe, Asia and America. We also consider some statistical characteristics of the dynamics of changes in the corresponding stock indices selected for analysis. This allows a better understanding of the functioning and development of the respective banking systems. For analysis, we use the wavelet ideology . We consider the corresponding wavelet coherence estimates. The paper presents a series of graphs and charts that allow you to understand the results of this study. The results obtained allow us to form appropriate strategies for entering the internati onal banking market.Публікація Wavelet Coherence as a Tool for Assessing the Functioning of the Banking System (on the Example of Data from Ukraine)(IJAAR, 2021) Lyashenko, V.; Viadrova, In.; Bitner, I.An efficient banking system is one of the factors for stable economic development. The ability to accumulate and redistribute financial resources contributes to the development of the economy and the financial sector. The stability of the functioning of the banking system contributes to the attraction of resources from such a source as the population. At the same time, it is important to analyze the functioning of the banking system in difficult conditions of its development: during the period of economic transformation, the influence of a set of various negative factors. Various methods and approaches are used for this analysis. The functioning of the banking system is described by various indicators and data sets. This reveals and shows the effectiveness of such a system from different points of view. Therefore, it is important to analyze the mutual dynamics of various characteristics that describe the functioning of the banking system. It is noted in the work that for such an analysis it is advisable to use the ideology of wavelet analysis. Wavelet coherence was chosen among the methods of such analysis. The use of wavelet coherence made it possible to construct an assessment of the functioning of the banking system on the example of data from Ukraine. For this, various data sets are considered, which reflect the functioning of the banking system from different points of view. On the basis of such assessments, the effectiveness of the functioning of the banking system of Ukraine has been analyzed. Results a represented based on real data analysis. This allows us to speak about the practical significance of such results, the possibility of their application for solving practical problems. Data and analysis results are presented in the form of informative graphs and diagrams. This allows us to understand the logic of the results obtained, to repeat this study and make similar assessments.
