Excitation of a conical slot antenna

Abstract

A boundary-value problem is considered on the scattering of the field of a radial magnetic dipole by a semi-infinite perfectly conducting with periodic longitudinal slots. It is shown that the solution of this problem is equivalent to the solution of a singular integral equation with a Cauchy-type kernel. Numerical results are presented for a cone with a single slot. The Fourier coefficients of electromagnetic field components are investigated as functions of the parameters of a cone.
