Анотація
When calculating electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) one of the most important steps is to calculate the propagation of radio waves from sources of interference. In the presence of a large number of methods for predicting the propagation of radio waves, an important task is the substantiated selection of the most appropriate methodology. The article analyzes the existing methods for calculating the propagation of radio waves, discusses the main factors that determine the applicability of these methods. Based on the analysis performed, a rational choice of the propagation calculation method for the EMC evaluation is proposed. In addition, the possibilities for the practical implementation of the chosen method of calculating the propagation of radio waves are considered.
