Анотація
The report presents a comparative analysis of the effect of compression formats on the microstructure of images for MJPEG, MPEG2, MPEG4 / DivX / XviD, WMV2, N. 264 / AVC formats with different degrees of compression. As the results of studies showed, when using compression formats with data loss, quite significant changes in image quality occurred that were caused by changes in the microstructure of the image under compression. The study of the statistical characteristics of compressed images showed that the average value and dispersion of the signal and background components change during compression.
