It was formulated a possible hypothesis about the origin of the pseudonym Kvyl'ovy from the Ukrainian word "khvylia" (radio waves). It is analyzed literary works of the writer in which the author is described the radio ("Syni et'udy" — "Ivan Ivanovych", "Arabesky", "Prel'udia", "Pudel' " etc).
