Дана технологія призначена для об'єднання існуючих розрізнених незалежних інформаційних систем (ІС) підприємства в єдиний інформаційний простір. Вона регламентує етапи розробки такої системи, а також включає комплекс підходів до реінжинірингу існуючих систем і їх бізнес-функцій. Як стандарт для організації їх взаємодії між собою застосована технологія web-сервісів. Внаслідок цього бізнес-функції компонентів глобальної корпоративної інформаційної системи повинні бути розширені реалізацією відповідних сервісів. За рахунок застосування сучасних технологій баз даних також вирішена задача забезпечення надійності та високої продуктивності бізнес-функцій системи, виконання яких вимагає застосування web-сервісів. The technology of development of heterogeneous corporate information systems (CIC) with a weakly connected architecture is proposed. This technology is designed to unite the existing disparate independent information systems (IS) of the enterprise into a single information space. It regulates the stages of developing such a system, and also includes a set of approaches to the reengineering of existing systems and their business functions. As a standard for the organization of their interaction, the technology of web-services is applied. As a result, the business functions of the components of the global corporate information system must be expanded by the implementation of the corresponding services.
