    The ability to use the LTE technology for improving the characteristics quality of wireless-sensor networks is considered. The potential energy saving in wireless, sensor networks based on the.LTE technology with MIMO is analyzed. The energy efficiency is compared pver different transmission distances. The main attention is paid to the possibility of using the LTE hardware for designing higher energy efficiency wireless sensor networks .
