The main theoretical questions of nature and content of interactive technology of the English language teaching in contemporary higher education are highlighted in the article. The widespread interactive methods (Brainstorming, Discussion, Cluster, Role playing and Case study) are analyzed.
The article reveals significance and topicality of interactive methods of the English language teaching in educational process of higher school. The criteria and basic principles of the methodology of cooperation are considered in the article.
